I was born to stand out.
I have always struggled with finding my place and, maybe that’s because my place isn’t just one place at all. I love art and the freedom of creating but, I love making sense of things too (and we know art doesn’t always make sense). I love things that don’t seem to mesh, I am things that don’t seem to mesh... but somehow it just works.
While studying at Savannah College of Art and Design, I learned to not only embrace these conflicting ideals but to incorporate them in all that I make. I want to create work where things mesh just right to elicit an emotional reaction strong enough that it becomes an experience for all involved.
